  I went to see Jennifer when I noticed swelling and stiffness in my hip/buttock area and although Jennifer eased my symptoms and took the time to talk to me about my personal life and explore reasons as to why I had my injury, I found her to be short, impatient and demanding at times. I had probably around 8 to 10 sessions with her before I got a second opinion from another physio even though she specifically asked me "not to go anywhere else". The physio I went to for a second opinion immediately refused to see me until I get an MRI as the swelling on my hip/buttock area was not as Jennifer put it "my bone", but something "completely different" that he strongly urged me to find out more about. I had an MRI and was then referred on to the gold coast hospital. As it turns out, it is a tumour that the doctors have deemed to be likely a sarcoma. I have a feeling that Jennifer might still have good intentions however I feel obliged to offer this insight so that as a client you feel more empowered to speak up if you have any uncertainties and always seek a second opinion as it might just buy you more time to what might be a life threatening issue.
